It's all go at Wellbeing Centre! We have a regular weekly timetable of engaging activities to support your mental and physical wellbeing.

 

We also work with other local agencies to run courses and events at the centre.

De-Stress Club

We're thrilled to be partnering with Re-Wilders to run a "De-Stress Club" for children in school years 7-9.

It's going to be a great weekly youth group where young people will learn some tools and strategies to help with manage their emotions, and meet new friends and have fun.

Wednesdays 4-6pm at the Wellbeing Centre, starting from the 4th October 2023. Want to attend? Then book a place by contacting Re-Wilders on www.re-wilders.co.uk

Be Well, Care Well 

Great news that The Carers Centre will be running a new weekly group at our centre starting Monday 9th October 2023!

Be Well Care Well will be every Monday from 2-3:30pm and will running activities and workshops to provide respite, help and fun to those caring for others.

If you're a carer, why not come along and join the group. Contact information is on the poster to find out more.

ADHD Adult Support Group

ADHD Solutions are starting a new Adult Support Group which will be running monthly at the Wellbeing Centre.

If you have ADHD and would like to join a peer-support group then this is for you!

Every Third Thursday of the month 10-12pm starting on the 21st September.

IT Help from Age UK

We are hosting a new monthly drop-in with Age UK offering IT support.

If you are over 55 and want some help using your tablet, phone or laptop then come along to the drop-in and get some support. 

They will be with us on the second Tuesday of the month, 1-3pm. 

NCHA Mental
Health Wellbeing Service

Starting on the 7th August 2023, we have a new service working with us: NCHA Mental Health Wellbeing Service.

They'll be at the centre every Monday from 10am-12pm. No need to make an appointment, if you'd like to see someone from NCHA, please just come along!

Comedy Wellbeing Hub

Would you like to take part or to be entertained? The new and FREE sessions will start from Thursday 3rd August 2:30-4pm and run until 12th October 2023. Contact information is on the poster. Refreshments provided

Yoga Classes

We offer 2 yoga sessions per week with our fabulous Yoga Instructor, Fal, who will gently instruct you and take you through an hour of yoga which will benefit both your body and mind. 

Yoga Mats are provided (but you are welcome to bring your own if preferred) and you can also choose to use a seat if you prefer.

Saturday classes are designed for people who may need to use a chair but you can use a mat if you prefer.

Mankind Meet Up

 

This group is designed for and led by men to support your wellbeing and is a great way to meet other men in a safe and welcoming space. There will be lots of different activities and a chance to get out and about too.

Together We Care’ Carers Self Advocacy & Wellbeing Group

 

Every Wednesday morning 10:30-12pm we host The Carers Centre LLR's Together We Care Self-Advocacy and Wellbeing Group where unpaid carers (including those in receipt of Carers Allowance) can meet with others for support. 

At these sessions you will have the opportunity to meet other carers to share experiences, find out about your rights and entitlements as a carer, and gain skills to help you manage your wellbeing.
