It's all go at Wellbeing Centre! We have a regular weekly timetable of engaging activities to support your mental and physical wellbeing.

 

We also work with other local agencies to run courses and events at the centre.

Trauma Yoga 8 week course.png

 Therapeutic Yoga

 

A new 8 week yoga programme for women will be starting on Thursday 4th April and will be Thursdays 1:30-2:45pm. 

If you feel that you would benefit from coming to this course then please have a look at the poster and get in touch if you'd like to find out more.

We'll be taking bookings and people need to be able to commit to the whole course, which is £75 for the 8 weeks.

Loughborough Humour Hub

 

We're delighted to be working with Bright Sparks Art again on their popular Humour Hub! We'll be running a 7 week course on Thursday afternoons from 2:30-4pm starting on Thursday 4th April 2024.

They'll be fun and relaxing workshops based around humour, making up stories, telling jokes and laughing together because having a laugh makes us all feel that bit better!

Menopause Wellbeing Café

 

A great monthly support group for those going through the perimenopause and menopause. The evening will be divided into a relaxed 'café style' session of chat and peer support from 6-7pm and then a yoga class 7-8pm which will be lead by an experienced menopause-yoga specialist. 

 

Booking required for the yoga as places are limited, please email us at the centre. Or, if you'd just like to attend the first half of the evening - just come along!

Fitness Class

 

Get those heart-raising endorphins going with a fitness class! Our Fitness Pilates and Boxing Fitness class runs on Wednesdays from 1-2pm with our instructor Emma. 

£3 per person and the session can be adapted to suit all fitness levels so come along and give it a try.

Mindful Walks 2024.png

Mindful Walks

 

Starting in April we'll be running some Mindful Walks, they'll be every other Wednesday from 11-12pm starting on 10th April 2024.

Meeting at the Wellbeing Centre and walking around the local area, being mindful in nature. 

Sound Meditation

 

Join us on the first Monday of the month for Sound Meditation.  Take some time for yourself and experience the healing and relaxing sounds of the instruments for one hour of perfect peace.

Session will be the first Monday of the month 2-3pm.

Only £5 per person, payable on the day.

Mankind Meet Up

 

This group is designed for and led by men to support your wellbeing and is a great way to meet other men in a safe and welcoming space. There will be lots of different activities and a chance to get out and about too.

De-Stress Club

We're thrilled to be partnering with Re-Wilders to run a "De-Stress Club" for children in school years 7-9.

It's going to be a great weekly youth group where young people will learn some tools and strategies to help with manage their emotions, and meet new friends and have fun.

Be Well, Care Well 

Great news that The Carers Centre will be running a new weekly group at our centre starting Monday 9th October 2023!

Be Well Care Well will be every Monday from 2-3:30pm and will running activities and workshops to provide respite, help and fun to those caring for others.

If you're a carer, why not come along and join the group. Contact information is on the poster to find out more.

ADHD Adult Support Group

ADHD Solutions are starting a new Adult Support Group which will be running monthly at the Wellbeing Centre.

If you have ADHD and would like to join a peer-support group then this is for you!

Every Third Thursday of the month 10-12pm starting on the 21st September.

Yoga Classes

We offer 2 yoga sessions per week on Tuesdays and Fridays with our fabulous yoga instructors who will gently instruct you and take you through an hour of yoga which will benefit both your body and mind. 

Yoga mats and blocks are provided (but you are welcome to bring your own if preferred) and you can also choose to use a seat if you prefer. 

Classes can be adapted for all abilities so please come along and give it a try, and at only £3 a session it's unbelievable value!

NCHA Mental
Health Wellbeing Service

Every Monday from 11am-1pm NCHA will be at the Wellbeing Centre during our Wellbeing Café to see people. No need to make an appointment, if you'd like to see someone from NCHA, please just come along!

Together We Care’ Carers Self Advocacy & Wellbeing Group

 

Every Wednesday morning 10:30-12pm we host The Carers Centre LLR's Together We Care Self-Advocacy and Wellbeing Group where unpaid carers (including those in receipt of Carers Allowance) can meet with others for support. 

At these sessions you will have the opportunity to meet other carers to share experiences, find out about your rights and entitlements as a carer, and gain skills to help you manage your wellbeing.
