Welcome to The Wellbeing Cafe Project
We provide a safe and welcoming meeting place for people (aged 18 plus) who are experiencing or recovering from mental health difficulties. We are suitable for people looking for fun activities and somewhere to rediscover their self-confidence and be socially active again.
We use local spaces in Leicestershire where we can provide a welcoming safe place for our drop-in well-being cafes that provide our activities for people who find social gatherings difficult to attend. Our current activities are currently being ran either on ZOOM online or at small groups in Loughborough and Shepshed.
We also have our warm and welcoming Gift Shop and Team Rooms at The Emporium, 3 Wards End, Loughborough. We stock lots of unique and bespoke gifts and artwork made by local artists and makers.
rt as well as Frenchic Furniture paints to upcycle those drab pieces of furniture or DIY projects that need brightening up. The best thing about The Emporium is all our profits go into our Wellbeing Cafes and is run mainly by our fantastic volunteers.
Sadly, however, at present due to the Covid-19 virus we have had to close our drop-in cafes. However, we know this is a really difficult time for so many people, especially those we support so we are running lots of activities, including a weekly café, online and you can find out more details on Facebook.
